* If dataset used is privately owned, it must be collected with proper agreement and licensing. To enter the competition, youa gree that both the training script and the dataset used to train the models can be shared with Chai Research Corp.

The goal of the competition is to train state-of-the-art conversational models. We will give you access to a large dataset and our reward model.
To ensure high accessibility of the competition, all models will be based off together.xyz's 3B model. Prize winners' models will be retrained by Chai with 6B and 13B parameters.
Exact details on both the competition and prize format will be announced ahead of September 2023.
